Privacy / Data protection

The operator of this site takes the protection of your personal data very seriously. We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the statutory data protection regulations and this data protection declaration.

Objective
This privacy policy clarifies the nature, scope and purpose of the processing (including collection, processing and use, including consents) of personal and other data within our online offer and the associated websites, functions and content (hereinafter collectively referred to as "online offer" or "website"). The Privacy Policy applies regardless of the domains, systems, platforms and devices (e.g. desktop or mobile) used on which the Online Offer is executed.

What is personal data?
The term personal data is defined in the Federal Data Protection Act. According to this, this is individual information about personal or factual circumstances of a specific or identifiable natural person. This includes, for example, your civil name, your address, your telephone number or your date of birth. As a rule, it is possible to use our website without providing personal data. Insofar as personal data (e.g. name, address or e-mail address) is collected on our website, this is always done, as far as possible, on a voluntary basis.

No data transfer to third parties
Your data will not be passed on to third parties unless we are legally obliged or entitled to do so or you have expressly consented to this.
We would like to point out that data transmission on the Internet (e.g. when communicating by e-mail) can have security gaps. Complete protection of data against access by third parties is not possible.

Right of appeal to the competent supervisory authority
In the event of violations of data protection law, the person concerned has a right of appeal to the competent supervisory authority. The competent supervisory authority in matters of data protection law is the state data protection commissioner of the federal state in which our company is based. A list of data protection officers and their contact details can be found at the following link: https://www.bfdi.bund.de/DE/Infothek/Anschriften_Links/anschriften_links-node.html.

Right to data portability
You have the right to have data that we process automatically on the basis of your consent or in performance of a contract handed over to you or to a third party in a common, machine-readable format. If you request the direct transfer of the data to another controller, this will only be done insofar as it is technically feasible.

Right to information, deletion, blocking
You have the right at any time to free information about your stored personal data, their origin and recipient and the purpose of data processing, as well as the right to correct, block or delete this data. For this purpose, as well as for further questions on the subject of personal data, you can contact us at any time at the address given in the imprint.

Right to object to data collection in special cases and to direct advertising (Art. 21 DSGVO).

If data processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6(1)(e) or (f) DSGVO, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation; this also applies to profiling based on these provisions. The respective legal basis on which processing is based can be found in this privacy policy. If you object, we will no longer process your personal data concerned unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing serves the purpose of asserting, exercising or defending legal claims (objection under Article 21(1) DSGVO).

If your personal data is processed for the purpose of direct marketing, you have the right to object at any time to the processing of personal data concerning you for the purpose of such marketing; this also applies to profiling, insofar as it is related to such direct marketing. If you object, your personal data will subsequently no longer be used for the purpose of direct marketing (objection pursuant to Art. 21 (2) DSGVO).

Right to restriction of processing

You have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data. To do this, you can contact us at any time at the address given in the imprint.

The right to restriction of processing exists in the following cases:

If you dispute the accuracy of your personal data stored by us, we usually need time to verify this. For the duration of the review, you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data.
If the processing of your personal data has happened / is happening unlawfully, you can request the restriction of data processing instead of deletion.
If we no longer need your personal data, but you need it to exercise, defend or assert legal claims, you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data instead of erasure.
If you have lodged an objection pursuant to Art. 21 (1) DSGVO, a balancing of your and our interests must be carried out. As long as it has not yet been determined whose interests prevail, you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data.
If you have restricted the processing of your personal data, this data - apart from being stored - may only be processed with your consent or for the assertion, exercise or defense of legal claims or for the protection of the rights of another natural or legal person or for reasons of an important public interest of the European Union or a Member State.

Cookies
The Internet pages partly use so-called cookies. Cookies do not cause any damage to your computer and do not contain viruses. Cookies serve to make our offer more user-friendly, more effective and safer. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer and saved by your browser. Most of the cookies we use are so-called "session cookies". They are automatically deleted after the end of your visit. Other cookies remain stored on your terminal device until you delete them. These cookies allow us to recognize your browser on your next visit.

You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and only allow cookies in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. If cookies are deactivated, the functionality of this website may be limited.

Server log files
The provider of the pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are:
- browser type and browser version
- Operating system used
- referrer URL
- Host name of the accessing computer
- Time of the server request

This data cannot be assigned to specific persons. A combination of this data with other data sources is not made. The IP addresses are only stored as far as it is necessary for the provision of our services. Otherwise, the IP addresses are deleted or anonymized. Your IP address when visiting our website is stored by our provider for a maximum of 7 days for the purpose of detecting and defending against attacks. We reserve the right to check this data retrospectively if we become aware of specific indications of illegal use.

Contact
Personal data is collected by us when you provide it to us of your own accord, for example when you contact us. We will, of course, use the personal data provided to us in this way exclusively for the purpose for which you provided it when contacting us. This information is used to specify your request and to improve the processing of your request. Any communication of this information is expressly on a voluntary basis and with your consent. Insofar as this involves information on communication channels (e.g. e-mail address, telephone number), you also consent to us contacting you via this communication channel, if necessary, in order to respond to your request.

You can, of course, revoke your declarations of consent at any time for the future. Please contact us for this purpose.

Duration of storage
We will only store your contact and traffic data for as long as is necessary for our services. If the data is required to comply with existing legal, statutory or contractual retention periods (e.g. invoices), this data will also be stored beyond this time in accordance with legal requirements.

Security
We have taken extensive technical and organizational precautions to protect your data from accidental or intentional manipulation, loss, destruction or access by unauthorized persons. Our security procedures are regularly reviewed and adapted to technological progress. We use authentication and authorization procedures to ensure as far as possible that unauthorized persons cannot access your personal data or use services reserved for you.

SSL encryption
This site uses SSL encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as the inquiries you send to us as site operator. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from "http://" to "https://" and by the lock symbol in your browser line.

If SSL encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.

Objection to advertising e-mails
We hereby object to the use of contact data published within the framework of the imprint obligation to send advertising and information material that has not been expressly requested. The operators of the pages expressly reserve the right to take legal action in the event of the unsolicited sending of advertising information, such as spam e-mails.

Links to other websites
Our online offer contains links to other websites. We have no influence on whether their operators comply with data protection regulations.

Google Web Fonts
This site uses so-called web fonts from Google for the uniform display of fonts. When you call up a page, your browser loads the required web fonts into its browser cache in order to display texts and fonts correctly. However, it does not connect to Google's servers, but accesses our hosting server. In this way, Google does not gain knowledge that Google Fonts was called up via your IP address. However, our hosting provider does gain knowledge of your IP address in the course of using the website. The handling of your IP address is described in the Server Log Files section of this privacy policy.

Google Web Fonts are used in the interest of a uniform and appealing presentation of our online offers. If your browser does not support web fonts, a standard font from your computer will be used.

Changes to the privacy policy
We reserve the right to change the data protection declaration in order to adapt it to changed legal situations or in the event of changes to the online offer or data processing. However, this only applies with regard to declarations on data processing. Insofar as user consents are required or components of the data protection declaration contain provisions of the contractual relationship with the users, the changes will only be made with the consent of the users. Users are therefore requested to inform themselves regularly about their content, especially if they provide personal information again.
